Walk for Life West Coast began with an anti-abortion rally at Justin Herman Plaza Saturday, attracting several thousand people from as far away as Bakersfield. The rally was followed by a walk along the Embarcadero, ending at Marina Green.
At the same time, counter-protesters gathered along the waterfront to march behind the pro-lifers. Their rally took place at nearby Pier 1, next to the S.F.Ferry Building.
Planned Parenthood organized a pro-choice candlelight vigil, walk and memorial beginning Saturday evening at 5 p.m at Delores Park.
The PP Nazis ought to have a candlelight vigil for all the babies they mercilessly slaughtered.
Shouldering signs with slogans such as "Peace Begins in the Womb," and "Women Deserve Better Than Abortion," the marchers were met on their downtown route by abortion rights supporters holding clothes hangers and shouting "Bigots go home."
Police lined the streets to keep the competing protesters away from each other.
"We're here to stand up for the babies that don't have a voice," said college student Laura Arnold, 20, of Pleasanton, Calif., who marched with her mother. "I know so many girls who did it (abortion) and they are hurting everyday of their life."

Candlelight vigil - for what?!...If anyone need a vigil it's for the pro-lifers to pray to God for a stop to this baby killing. How stupid the pro-abortionists look.
Once again the tax payer subsidized commie/socialists use our money to work against honest citizens, who have to use their own money to fight for equality and justice for all. When are our tax payer dollars going to be cut off from the PP?
