Agree. Only conservatives and others that can't stand her are put off by her remark. I will not be surprised in 08 though, if she is elected to the White House (shudder).

Her previous actions and the meaning behind her remarks are the reasons why conservatives can't stand her. Not just, we can't stand her; therefore, we are 'put off' by her remarks. BTW, conservatives are not alone - so discount 'only'.
