Well put! I was STUNNED when the dems put up Kerry as the candidate in'04. If they're trying to capture "middle america" why did they pick the most leftwing kook in the senate? I think they are going to make the same mistake in '08. Anybody to the right of Stalin will be unacceptable to the fringe left, which runs the demo party.

Her previous actions and the meaning behind her remarks are the reasons why conservatives can't stand her. Not just, we can't stand her; therefore, we are 'put off' by her remarks. BTW, conservatives are not alone - so discount 'only'.
