There is a difference in that naziism was meant only for Germans while communism was meant for the whole world. You had less of a chance of starving due to naziism, at least if you were living outside of Germany.

You might ask the Poles about that. Nazism was meant only to benefit the Germans. Fascism is national socialism while communism is international socialism. But most certainly Nazism was meant to affect millions of people out side of German quite negatively.
