Dear it is ONLY ONE reactor:). But you stresses that there are REACTORS (many many reactors).

The anti-aircraft missiles are totally defensive and not forbidden.

I agree that they are defensive weapons. Anyway - the question is, if a weapon should be sold to someone who is a known killer, no matter if it is defensive or not. Would you sell i.e. Jeffrey Dahmer a "defensive" weapon? Now young American soldiers have to die because it was not forbidden to sell the Iranians those weapons.

Furthermore it is correct, that the reactor in Bushehr alone is not suitable to produce nuclear weapons. But it is a known fact that Iran is trying to put up a weapon capable nuclear program since a long time. The Russian technology will help them to do on other place what they can't do in Bushehr. Therefore it would have been a "nice accommodation" if Pres. Putin could have talked with his partners in west before selling those theocratic idiots a big nuclear factory. The Kremlin seems to be a crazy BULLSHI*-CASTLE that could come responsible of the death of bazillions of innocent people.

If Russia wants to be more than just a anarchic and lawless area, a sort of "Burkina Faso with nuclear warheads", it will be nessecary that your compatriots search the coordination with the West. Your country has great potential. No doubt about that. Therfore it is sad to see the continuation of the political cretinism that ruled the last 80 or 90 years of this great country.

Think about it.

P.S.

You guys always try to defend something, that is absolutely not worth defending. I understand very well that the Russian freepers feel a deep love for their country and its people and I understand that they want to protect it from any kind of foreign pressure. The question is how you can serve your country the best way. Personally I think that it would be the quite intelligent to do the things that have to be done first, instead of complaining about Soros, the NGOs or the legality of selling the Iranians nuclear technology. All this whining is a joke and makes fools out of reasonable conversational partners. If your gouvernment gives your people things like the possiblity of a choice or a reliable constitutional state, it has the side effect that huge sums of money will flow into your country. The West doesn't invest, because we see Russia as a big corrupt and anarchistic zone. If that changes you do not have to build reactors in Bushehr anymore.

Gee, I am sure that only one reactor can produce enough plutonium to wipe out only a handful of cities a year.

Only one reactor, is like only one bed dance with an aids infected partner.

Your my country right or wrong tends to make you wrong, as morality is not defined by nationality.

But of course, since they want to use the old "WW2 allies" thing to the hilt.
