Well, I looked for it and can't find it; I read it on here somewhere in the last few weeks; basically, Reagan doubled government spending and Bush is less than a quarter, off the top of my head.

Are you adjusting for inflation?

Reagan had to deal with Tip O'Niel. W got to deal with Delay.

Also, Reagan gave us no new entitlements, then again neither did Bush I or Clinton.

We'll have the perscription drug benefit to haunt us for years. Or as Ronald Reagan used to say, and I paraphrase "the closest thing to eternal life on earth is a government progam"

I'm not doing anything except citing something I remember reading on FR lately.

And you know I do NOT do economics, period.
