She told them "it has to go someplace and that Yucca Mountain was the best built facility in the country." Then a judge said what would happen if people could die? She, according to the pageant director, answered "we just have to take one for the team."

When I was at UNLV one of my classes made us go tour Yucca Mountain and on the tour I learned a lot about the process of storing waste. I have worked in the nuclear industry before and I am totally OK with waste being stored in the middle of the desert.
