Politicians from Oregon oppose Alito? Wow - who would have guessed?

Even though the vote will probably be along party lines I can already see the next headline: "Alito Wins Amid Republican Partisanship".

Well, I don't think Sen. Gordon Smith opposes him.

He may be a bit squishy, but at least he votes right on judges.
