Technically, ole Sullivan might be right though: See, he only said they "gained admirers" (when they started spewing their socialist drivel. (Since they were primarily CW singers with little pure socialist appeal before, and got lots of attention after from the press, they might actually have gained a few thousand new "admirers."
He never said they gained more CUSTOMERS!
