This might turn out to be a good thing. Bring it before the Supreme Court. Let them decide if the President acted accordingly. And when they do decide, and the leftist libs go nuts about it, they will look that much more stupid.

Well I'm not an attorney, but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn Express some time ago.
This case will be tossed. I would think the loon would have to at least have some proof of damages.

I believe these jacka@@ are out of luck. I think it will be thrown out unless this fool can show damage as result of wiretap. He probably can't even prove he was wiretapped. Damn, where are these fools coming from?

"...expense of his civil liberties and the American form of government."
The constitution provides for the authority of the President to order surveilance of the enemies of our nation in the interest of security. His argument is weak and will be struck down.

He's not sueing because he thinks he was wiretapped. He is sueing because he thinks the President's use of it without warrants is unconstitutional. Of course he is wrong, and maybe he does need to be wiretapped just to get some humorous material from when Ted calls and congratulates him.

The lawsuit names President Bush, the National Security Agency and the NSA's director as defendants. This idiot, who calls himself a sort of a Lawyer should know that you can not sue the Government and/or a sitting President no matter what!
It looks to me that this pompous schmuck is just grand standing to place himself in the lime light!

Do you ever wonder who wrote the "patriot" act?
I did. Then I found that a vietnamese ( from north or south I dont know) and son of a russian immigrant wrote it.
I don't know, is it just a coincidence that a guy from nam and a russian descendant wrote the act which takes away our civil liberties for a non existent security?
I know. But still, sometimes I just can't but wonder when I do the research to discover just who it is that would write such an unconstitutional act.

Guzzi said Friday he has developed friendships overseas, before the 2001 terrorist attacks, and worries that communications with those friends are being monitored. So, if his friends overseas send him child pornography, is that protected speech?
To: phoenix0468
He's not sueing because he thinks he was wiretapped. Actually the article says:
Guzzi said Friday he has developed friendships overseas, before the 2001 terrorist attacks, and worries that communications with those friends are being monitored.
It was not unusual for him to discuss topics such as the mindset of terrorists, suicide bombings, the United States' approach to the war on terror, the war in Iraq and other related subjects in the course of a typical conversation particularly since his friends are both of Middle Eastern descent, he said.

So, if his friends overseas send him child pornography, is that protected speech? In the new world of twisted reality it just may be that child pornography is protected and national security is not.

Actually I have never stayed in one but always loved their commercials.
Do they have those small, forceful, water-saving shower heads?

Guzzi said he has no way of knowing whether he was actually monitored, since the program is secret. What are his damages?
