Darkwolf377: Congrats on a great post.
"Yo Johnny, if your momma/wife let you stay up this late, answer me this: How long after we declared war on Germany was Adolph Hitler certified as dead?"
Kerry is all about instant gratification. I doubt he could actually follow the series "24", as it wouldn't have an ending when he wanted it. Someone ought to tell Kerry some of these conflicts have gone on for CENTURIES. That ought to call him off the case.....
Who the heck was even TALKING about that? No one. Kerry didn't even bring the topic up on its own--HE brought up the question of whether anti-war rhetoric is the same as pro-Bin Laden rhetoric, and then he just hops on this relatively unimportant point.
Bush was trash-talking, which soldiers do in war. I've never been in combat but have first-hand accounts from people who have been. In movies, too, they sometimes make it seem like it's heartless to call the enemy names and say "Yahoo!" or "Dead or alive," but that's simply what you do in these situations.
So instead of addressing an important issue, he turns into this political nancyboy and whines "What about Tora Bora, you didn't get him huh, huh, *I* would have, because I wouldn't have outsourced the job." Forget that he's so out of it he can't see that outsourcing is last year's news, he's now attacking Bush for not putting MORE of our people in harm's way. Look at the logic he's using--he's attacking Bush because he DIDN"T put our men in danger, and did the political balancing act that probably helped Afghanistan by having THEM take care of an internal problem.
All of this is beyond the muffin stand owner from Massachusetts.
