PARTICULARLY at a solidly Catholic university

There is nothing particularly Catholic about Loyola. Those of us who remain faithful Catholics usually do it in spite of our Jesuit educations these days. I speak as an LMU alum.

I will defer to your greater knowledge, but there was SOMETHING different about that crowd last night. :o)
Perhaps they just had better MANNERS, or better BREEDING...
...but I have been going up against quite a few mean-spirited, poorly groomed, inconsiderate "anti-war" types from colleges all over southern California in recent years, and THESE GUYS were a very refreshing alternative.
And, rigorously Catholic or not, there were a LOT more crosses on the LMU campus than there are on the L.A. County seal. :o)
