Hi, Jho! How's the Left Coast doing tonight?
We're finally cold, but it's still dryer than sawdust in a ghost town...

We're doing well! :) It was a beautiful... if not taupe (our sky *ain't* blue no more) day. We got to watch the hot air balloons over Del Mar on our way home. We *had* to get out of the house because the city was cutting back all of the palm trees on our street. *errrrgh*. But it's all about the friends, the food and the love tonight. :D
I have Carribean Chicken on the stove, and candles to warm the house (omg, I about died when I got my January power bill... so the gas fireplace is for dire emergencies!). It's definitely a great night. :)
Gosh, I hope you guys get some rain soon... it's like the moisture isn't dropping down far enough in the gulf stream. I mean, we're getting the cold too (it was 28 degrees here last night), but no moisture. Which is strange. Frickin' Pacific Ocean wild kids! :P After living through our firestorm out here, I know how precious every drop of water is.... I can only hope you see some relief soonest.
