I'm *finally* back home. It's been a long day of running in and out and all around, doing tons of errands I didn't want to have to do, but um, yehah. I did get to make it to our local 'gun show', and I was *so* highly depressed. It was $20 entrance between parking & admission - and they had VERY few guns. Ok, any worth mentioning, anyway. There was one set that I found, it was a Confederate Navy 1863 Samuel Colt's - a paired set, with the matching dagger, as well. Had I had the $3,000.00... I would be the proud new owner. Other than that, everything was very much run of the mill. I was so grumpy, because the last gun show I went to in Colorado was about 10 times as big. But our goal of recon and education was done, and we know NOT to do that again. :P I'll buy from the local range first.

But I did manage to get a few great gifts for me & the brownshoe boi:

And we got to hang out and meet with the Republican Party of San Diego and that was fun. The gentleman was stationed in Colorado Springs like *way* before me & D were born... I mean, before even MY mom was born! :P It was fun swapping stories, meeting the vets, donating to the Shriners who are helping our wounded vets. It was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! :)

I'm still looking for a suitable rifle, tho. I gotta pass a silly exam (like why you don't point guns at other people) to buy a handgun... :D Wish they'd do that for people to have kids! :)

I'm in for a great evening of music and fun... we're just watching History International and enjoying a cold Heineken! I can't *WAIT* for football tomorrow! I'm hoping for a Jake vs. Jake Superbowl XL! :D Sending out lots of love and great wishes!
