Yep..Standard rule..Once a Marine always a Marine. Thats why there are no ex-Marines.
However, the Marines I know, current and former, DO NOT advocate the policies espoused by Murtha.
And a few I have had conversations with on this topic, have expressed the same feeling.
Murtha may have finished boot camp, he may have gone in-country, but his comments now, and his acceptance of code pink accolades, does not reflect the true spirit of the Marine Corps and he has brought dis-honor on himself.

I was at a Marine 4 Life luncheon last week and Murtha was brought up.... we had 90 people there, 75 were marines .... the grumble was so loud they had to turn down the sound system.

It was just freaking wonderful!
