Fantastic. Does this mean the people entering and exiting
the hospital won't have to see the code pinkos?
They are 50 feet down the street in front of the closed entrance. They setup with their candles and held their liitle vigil. We expect them to be there Friday.
They are still down the street 1/2 block, but they are MUCH less threatening and obvious to the family members of the wounded in that position. Depends which direction they enter the hospital from. And lately, even the bus bringing the soldiers back from their excursion has been coming from the other direction. Hippies smell.
It cannot be repeated enough that one of "our boys" told a FReeper - was it you, Justanobody? - as he was brought in he could look out and see us through the window, and it gave a comforting lift to his spirits.
What they do is so heroic, it makes me feel so small. How do you ever say thank you? How can you ever do enough? Last Friday felt so good, not just because we bested the human detritus of Code Pinko, but because we could give that victory as a gift to our heroes.
*sniff* Time to go and make valentines for some very special people.
