The Ol' Hag - Ivins appears to have a molecule of sanity left in her. I'm shocked and awed.

If Hillary wins the nomination, Muley will immediately, completely and permanently forget she wrote that column and will promote Hillary as the Best. Nominee. Ever.

Molly, you're a liar as well as a common street walker who'll spead her legs for anyone/anything that smells of contempt for and hatred of this country.

So why does anyone still bother to seek Molly Ivan's opinion on anything?
To: rdb3
Hillery just does not have Bill's touch of telling every audience exactly what they want the hear without pissing the last or the next audience off.
Say whatever you like about Slick Willie, but no politician was ever so convincingly sincere while lying through his teeth. I'll bet you that crazy Molly still really thinks that Bill believes exactly what she believes.

then you go out and find some obscure junior senator from Minnesota with the guts to do it. In 1968, Gene McCarthy was the little boy who said out loud, Look, the emperor isn't wearing any clothes. Yeah, now all you need to do is find a handful of millionaires to fund this new McCarthy the way they funded the old one. Oh, right, that's "buying" a candidate, eh, Mol? She hits the target, though, in the most important way--if the dems truly believed their crap, they would fearlessly say what they REALLY believe...and accept the consequences. Same for Conservatives.
To: rdb3
Ivins says the majority of Americans believe the war in Iraq is a mistake and the U.S. should get out, and a majority are also in favor of raising the minimum wage, repealing President Bushs tax cuts, imposing a windfall profits tax on big oil companies and reducing the deficit not by cutting domestic spending, but by reducing Pentagon spending or raising taxes. Yep, here's a winning platform: Dems stand for cutting and running, raising minimum wage (and your food bill, restaurant tabs, lawn service, dry cleaning etc.), and raising your taxes. If that's not enough, they'll reduce Pentagon spending and embolden the Osama's of the world.
I gotta give it to you Molly, you're on the money - now go out there and talk dems into running on your platform -- and do it now -- before the midterm elections... </sarcasm>

I think Molly is just afraid of strong women in positions of power.
Isn't that what feminists always say when men oppose Hillary?
