At Sundance Film Festival...
Many celebrities keep their kids out of the public eye to avoid the paparazzi and kidnappers. Not Rosie O'Donnell.
O'Donnell said it was Madonna — her co-star in "A League of Their Own" — who explained to her why she appeared with her daughter Lourdes in public.
Rosie, wife Kelli Carpenter O'Donnell and their two sons and two daughters will be on hand Tuesday for the world premiere of the documentary "All Aboard! Rosie's Family Cruise" at the Sundance Film Festival.
Kelli, whom Rosie married in San Francisco in 2004, and Parker, 10; Chelsea, 8; Blake, 6; and Vivienne, 4, are among several families spotlighted in this delightful and inspiring account of a Caribbean cruise that the O'Donnells sponsored for gay families that same year.
Rosie says she was initially reluctant when she was approached by HBO about doing a documentary on the cruise.
"I didn't know if the families would want this," she said, referring to the 500 or so gay families that signed up for the cruise aboard the massive Norwegian Dawn.
"Malcolm X's daughter Atallah Shabazz was on the cruise..."
All six of the O'Donnells will on hand for their very first trip to Sundance.
"They all got to pick out their own outfits," she said.
"I think it's going to be mildly overwhelming."

I am not a fan of Rosie O'Donnell but I have no problem with gay marriage in general.
How about incestuous marriage, beast-man marriage, group marriage?
Just another ploy to try and normalize the de-moralization of America. If it's said enough, it becomes normal. Guess what NYP...it ain't normal, won't ever be normal, no matter how much you say it.
