Let the Mormon bashing begin! (I'm LDS, and know how things work here at FR).

you obviously werent here for the mormon wars some years back on FR - there was a period where nothing mormon could be mentioned - be it an apologist, or someone critical. A good many people got banned - some nice - some rude....It is largely neutral now - so please leave your victimhood as a persecuted tribe of Levi at the door

I'm not talking about the article. I've just noticed that the word "Mormon" (who died about 1600 years ago, BTW) in an article brings out the hounds. It could be "Mormons like lime-green Jello", and suddenly the talk is about the Mountain Meadows Massacre (oh, wait...).

BTW, we are more likely to be from the tribe of Ephriam than Levi.

That mormon bashing wasn't years ago. It still happens quite a bit. As I recall the last time I encountered it her at FR was fairly recently, within the past couple of months.

Thanks for the ping. To be perfectly honest, I rarely reply on the 'Mormon' threads anymore. And I rarely post any articles relating to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I got tired of trolls (not you) and the threads being pulled quite frequently. I also get tired of being told what I believe (pulled from anti-Mormon sites.) I get tired of not being considered a Christian, when I believe in Jesus Christ with my whole heart, mind, and soul. And as I have said many times, I will leave it to Jesus Christ at the Judgement Day to judge my heart and my life. That's all I ask.
