I'm curious. What faith.

The practice of moving these guys around I believe happens only in the "centrally controlled" churches vs the independent churches such as the Baptist example in this story.

"I'm curious. What faith. "

It was a Presbyterian church. Since I was just a 16 year old kid, I didn't really learn exactly what went on. I do know that he was never charged for a crime.

I think this sort of thing has happened in all sorts of situations, or used to. It's embarrassing to the church or school or other youth organization and it gets swept under the rug to avoid bad publicity. We don't know about it because it's hidden.

I'm not sure, though. I only know, personally, about that single instance.

Our minister has been at our church since 1978. It is going to be hard on all of us when he retires. He had a pacemaker inserted and he was back at church that Sat. performing a wedding ceremony. We all love him. BTW, I am a Southern Baptist.
