When she said "you know what I'm talking about" it was so utterly gratuitous, it became a parody of itself. She would have been fine if she had stuck to the plantation analogy, its powerful enough to need no explaination, but she just couldn't leave it there. She's like chalk(white) on a blackboard, screeching a message of solidarity, that is so completely incongruent, all you hear is that screech.
