To: Lejes Rimul
The part I find most amusing about Syria backing the Mullahs is that, if indeed Iran nukes Israel, the prevailing winds will likely take the resulting fallout directly over Syria, ruining its economy, agriculture and population in a manner that will ruin it as a People and Nation.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer megalomaniac wannabe.

As I have said before, the little eye doctor is not his father. Hafez Assad would have joined the US bandwagon years ago, but then, genetics isn’t everything.

One heck of a double-edged sword, huh? It won't come to a nuclear exchange, the mullahs will keep Ahmadinejad in check for that, but you're right about Baby Assad. His daddy was smart enough to cut a deal with America during Gulf Storm; America got Iraq, Syria got Lebanon. Baby Assad's not quite so wily.
