The one in Goldfinger who got painted gold.
Mmmmmm Ms. Masterson.

Darn, forgot to address this point.
"I was questioning a post that said basically that the changes in how you look and how your children look is evolution.
This is true in a sense. 'Descent with modification' has been used and is a valid way to describe evolution and is easily observed in a single generation of a single family; but if it only happens in that single family it should not correctly be called 'Evolution'.
This is usually given as a simple example rather than a real definition of evolution. I believe this was the intention of the poster you responded to.

Thanks PH for your excellent links in post #221....as always, you have provided some excellent reference material..
I especially enjoyed Ichneumons post about Galileo, and was especially touched at many of Galileos thoughts, this one being most excellent...."I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."
This quote of Galileos, spoken so long ago, is as fresh, and relevant today, as it was in his day...
Thanks to Darwin Central...

"Try giving the matter a tad more thought and reading the post before responding so quickly. Quick can be foolish. Macro evolution has NOT been observed. That depends on your definition of 'Macro-evolution'
If you define it as scientists do, then it has been observed many times.
If you define it as many AntiEvos do, as a severe saltation event such as a cat giving birth to a dog then no Evo ever claims that would happen.
If you define it to be a dramatic change in a lineage during a large expanse of time, and through many generations and cumulative changes, such that the original species would be placed in a different taxonomic classification above the species level than the umpteenth descendants would, then you are correct. We have not been observing species long enough. However direct observation is not the only type of 'observation' used in science, in fact it is less prevalent than indirect observation and inference, which is part of our evolution knowledge base.

Thanks to Darwin Central No problem. When you rule the world, you can afford to toss some goodies around.

I do however believe that evil is the absence of GOD,
It is perfectly alright to have a belief for which philosophical method and logical deduction has been argued for proof. But one should not forget and should study the philosophical method and logical deduction that argues for proof against the belief. The acceptance or denial of such proofs by the masses is the most probable explination.

Add to it the time context. How could you get away with saying anything using "pussy" unless it was followed by "cat"? back in the '60's.
Now you can say any tasteless thin that comes into you mind.
Fleming must be smiling at us from the great beyond

Shirley EatonI wonder if that's her real name, or a stage name. It ranks right up there with Pussy Galore.

Looks like so far its a tie. Anyway I'm going to quit keeping track, this thread is so far too 'nice'. I had expected much more from both sides.

I can hear Connery with his accent saying "I must be dreaming" after she told him her name!
The smirk on his face said volumes.

"And why does the juxtaposition of "tongue" and "pussy" cause you so much consternation? Tongue tied in this context is not consternation but preparation.
