Bin Laden is an educated man who has surrounded himself with other educated men.Are you sure? Where was he educated? In much of the middle east Koran studies is education. Maybe his rich family sent him to Yale or something, but I'm not aware of it. Does he speak any language other than Arabic? It's very difficult to be eductated if you only speak Arabic. Why? Because there are so few books translated into it. I read recently that Spain translates more books into Spanish in a single year than the entire Arab world has translated into Arabic in the last 1000 years. I believe the number is less than 10,000, total.
