I didn't hear that either. No Republican has said he/she would vote against. You can bet that if that happened, the news media would report it. They're itiching for an excuse to paint Alito as "extreme". Respectfully, I think the person who posted that is mistaken

I agree. I think the only question is how many Dems will vote for Alito. I don't think very many quite frankly. The Dem leadership appears to have most of their soldiers in line. They don't have the votes to filibuster, but they are going to play the spoiled brat whiny baby part brilliantly.

I think the strategy is to try and put future R presidents on notice that they better have the numbers, because conservatives will not get their votes, regardless of their qualifications.
