Attack of the Remixed Liberal Ads!!!!
FD ^

Posted on 01/19/2006 5:27:42 AM PST by Grig

Back in 2004 I was planning on re-dubbing the audio of a certain Liberal attack ad to make it critical of their record in government. In the process of creating that ad, I discovered it contained a subliminal image. The media attention this got resulted in the ad quickly and quietly being taken off the air, so I didn't see any point in continuing with my original project .

Durring the 2005-2006 campaign, I went back and reviewed the ads used by the Liberals in 2004, and realized that it would be even easier to point that ad back at the Liberals now than it would have been then, so with the help of my wife's wonderful voice we did it. Several prominant websites picked it up, including stephentaylor.ca, andrewcoyne.ca, drudge.com, and of course, here on Free Dominion where it was first posted. It even was shown on CBC's 'The Hour' but who watches that?

After that the Liberals came out with a new batch of attack ads, which were quickly parodied by many. Here are my contributions. They are only some of the ones I would have made if I had more time.

Enjoy.

I wanted to get this out a LOT sooner, but one thing after another took my time. Here at last are some of the parodies I was planning. At this rate I won't get them all done in time, but I'll try and get some Martin ones done before the weekend.

Videos are at the source link. They are each 3.5M wmv. There are also a couple 'blank' ones you can use to make your own

Could you tell us more about the subliminal image you found or direct us to the entire story? Thank you.
