There are two little bunnies and a fawn on my page that says *Loading Your Flogo Cartoon*. That page is animated, but nothing else happens - it just keeps *loading* :(

Been gone since morning & a quick hello!

Billie, I had to download two flash macro media programs to see Maggies darling "cup of joy". It is cute & I hope you are able to see it.

Turned out to be a lovely day here... (well, for Ohio that is).. most of you would think it stinks

Had another computer "glitch"(this is with computer that I have had about 2 weeks). seems that my Bios have changed & the computer when rebooted tries to go to whatever is plugged into a USB port to boot(instead of the hard drive, where it is supposed to go (isn't that cute?). bottom line is that the computer will NOT boot windows. So we have to play a little game & unplug EVERYTING, reboot the computer & after windows loads, then I can plug in the USB "stuff".

Now my brother informs me that this doesn't "just happen".. it has to be changed in the "settings"... I did NOT change it. No one else has been at my computer (and I rebooted before I went to bed last night & it was fine. After I posted a few things this AM before I left, I noted the problem.

That doggone Murphy. Not only is he always starting chaos here but NOW he is a messing with my computer settings (or Cali or Toby have)

Well, I can work it & just with a minor annoyance.

Hope you all have a wonderful evening

I received that "cup of coffee" after midnight last night from an old friend - well, older than I am, and old as "in number of years (33) known"..:)

It set the scene for an absolutely STELLAR DAY - a rare one that has overflowed with blessings from dawn to now!
First, my medical appointment in Aiken wasn't until 1:30, so I was able to sleep until 8:15 and didn't have to hurry.
Although the night was cold, it warmed rapidly into the 60's (and will be in the 70's again the next 2 days).
Reaching Aiken, there was planted 4 years ago on a major roadway a row of flowering trees, with lavender blossoms already that signal winter is waning and SPRING HAS BEGUN!!

Beautiful weather - flowering trees - light traffic - and a most satisfying visit with one of my physicians, giving me a Progress Report. All three of them are fantastic, and today this one listened to and understood two important things I needed to convey...one prevented possible disaster, since they were about to start me on a new Rx that was tried on me 4 years ago with disastrous side effects, putting me down for 5 weeks.

Since the reason for it was marginal anyway, he examined me carefully (heart, neck arteries, etc.) and opted to cancel it, recording the past bad experience as his justification. The treatment would have been far worse than any possible benefit for the condition - shown to be minimal on an ultrasound in November.

We ate lunch out, and reaching home received a letter from my sister Anne (in the Assisted Living Facility), full of thanks for The Surprise Birthday Visit we had sprung on her, and for us.
Oh, those loving ties that bind!! The memories and laughter and joy we share is immeasureable. She's a gifted artist, and it was full of little illustrations.

Even making a brief shopping foray here late in the afternoon, there were up front parking spaces at 2 stores, and at Wal-Mart I found somethimg that was precisely what I was looking for. On the computer chair, I have had for years a once comfy extra cushion that now is rock hard and *not* conducive to comfort.

Thinking I could at the very least get new foam and cover that, I decided memory foam might be best.
Right at the first of the row of pillows was a just the right size, black covered square memory foam cushion with a white-edged zippered cover - when open and unfolded, it even becomes a throw!!
Another Win-Win on a whole day of special things!
