I guess Gore's overheated rhetoric and Hillary's plantation speech were supposed to take our minds off of the Alito hearing's dem members' deplorable display..It did not work.Their accusations compounded the dem stench.

...The press calls this 'Democrats exercising their right to a customary one-week delay .' I call it 'Democrats selecting the date they get defeated.' Ooops -referring back to that chapter in Evelyn Wood's Speed-Reading book, "Don't read so fast you mis-interpret what the word actually says", afraid I read that as deleted. Either way works for me. :)
dutchess, you did an outstanding job with picking just the right graphic in your layout.
And John, this essay ranks right up there on top.

Thanks for a fantastic thread! :) I'm one of those that was stressed out.LOL Those old grumpy rats are nuts. They sure showed us that didn't they.
I'm so grateful that the nominations were up while President Bush is in office. I don't want to imagine who they, the rats, would nominate and what that would be like. :)
I do think, they made fools out of themselves. So something good came from their insults, rantings and ravings over nothing. :)
