AL ASAD, Iraq (Jan. 2, 2005) – Two Marines instruct a class of Iraqi logistics soldiers on weapons safety here Jan. 2. More than nine Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group (Forward) are members of the first Marine unit to begin training the first Iraqi Logistics unit with the new Iraqi Army.

“If you don’t have logistics you can’t re-supply the infantry,” Opel explained.

What many (but the enemy) don’t seem to realize.
