<< people keep asking me what I think of Munich and 'Bareback Mounting.' I have finally decided that just because I havent seen them shouldnt prevent my having an opinion. So, for the record, I dont like them. >>
Me, too.

How about a movie about Ronald Reagan? The Cold War? The collapse of communism? The U-2 or the SR-71 Blackbird (Skunk Works)?
Oh I know...that is why it is called Holliy Weird.

For my birthday, my friends decided to treat me to the movies, reluctantly I went with them, ANYWAY, I saw King Kong...OMG what an EXCELLENT movie! It had me at the edge of my chair all through the movie! This flick would have been the last movie on my list I would ever view, BUT, I'm glad I went...WHAT A MOVIE...I LOVED IT!! No matter how much I dislike HELLywood, this movie is a must!

I saw King Kong...OMG what an EXCELLENT movie! In spite of it's dark racial overtones ?

I was rather surprised that about the last person I would've guessed would get into King Kong told me that I must, must, must see the movie. I'm planning on going this Saturday, since the crummy reviews for Munich have definitely removed that one from my list.

"So I went home and wrote an amusing review of a musical trifle with Mario Lanza called The Seven Hills of Rome.
Never heard of that one. Is it good? Sounds like an old one.

Man, I hated King Kong. I couldn't wait for it to end. Different strokes for different folks. (I did like the blond though.)

I wouldn't be surprised if I hate it, even though I'm told I'll love it. I've always thought the whole King Kong premise is just stupid. If I'm expected to get all tore up over the demise of the overgrown monkey it ain't gonna happen!
Just so long as the FX are worth the admission price then that's good enough for me.

I was initially excited when I heard about "Munich", until I got the inside skinny on it.
The way Israel went after those Palirats after the Munich massacre is a story that should be told around campfires for time immemorial. But I ain't wasting my money on this POS.
Oh well, the trailers for the Johnny Cash flick look decent...

And, frankly, when I go to a movie, Id really rather not be reminded that I have an appointment coming up soon with my proctologist. BWHAHAHA! (snort!)

I suspect most of the raves for it are coming from people who want to prove how sophisticated and broad-minded they are.Bingo! We have a winner!

You just gotta love Katherine!
I just cant help thinking that what Katherine Hepburn said about Midnight Cowboy, another over-hyped movie that neither of us liked, she might well have said about Brokeback Mountain: If the movie had been about a boy and a girl, instead of two boys, everybody would have realized it was a stinker!

For those who want to see a better portrayal of the aftermath that Munich is supposed to be showing, rent/buy The Sword of Gideon. Much better movie and relates the story with out the rhetoric. I highly recommend it.

Racial? Please refresh my memory here, cause I don't remember anything racial in the flick!
