Teddie's Love Child

Forgive me if this is a repost, but I didn't find it o n a search.

Teddie's Love Child is just too good to pass up.

January 18, 2006 Ted Kennedy's Secret Love Child The Boston Herald's Inside Track gives us the details from a National Enquirer story that claims Ted Kennedy has a secret love child from an extramarital affair.

According to the tabloid’s source, the boy, named Christopher, just celebrated his 21st birthday and is “mature enough to make his own choices about his background and biological father.” A Kennedy family confidante told the Enquirer, “This is one of the biggest secrets in the Kennedy family and known to only a few people including Ted’s ex-wife, Joan.”

As for the senator, his spokesgal Melissa Wagoner last night called the tabloid tale “irresponsible fiction.”

Here’s the story according to the Enquirer: Back in 1983, Kennedy, then 51, took up with Caroline Bilodeau, an attractive brunette, several months before divorcing Joan, the mother of his three kids — Kara, Ted Jr. and Patrick.

Bilodeau’s friends told the Enquirer the local lass became so smitten with the senator, she “had dreams about being the next Mrs. Ted Kennedy.” But the love affair came crashing down when Bilodeau told Ted a baby was on the way, the mag reports.

“Caroline announced to the family that she was two months pregnant around May 1984,” blabbed a Bilodeau confidante. “Ted was not happy about the news. He already had three kids with Joan and knew a baby out of wedlock could hurt him politically.”

According to the Enquirer, the scandal-scarred senator begged Bilodeau to have an abortion, but she refused.

“He told her he couldn’t undergo another scandal — not after Chappaquiddick, not so close to his divorce from Joan” said the source. “He was very angry when she defied him and had the child.”

According to the report, Teddy took a paternity test shortly after the child's birth, since then Bilodeau “always seemed to have money.”

UPDATE: Jay Tea over at Wizbang writes, "Yeah, I know, it's the Enquirer. But over the last decade or so, that paper has had a track record for accuracy that outshines the New York Times."

When is the last time you looked at a picture of Teddy's abdomen? Are you sure about this?

Wasn't it the Enquirer that ran a story awhile back about Clinton's love child? They had a full picture of the boy who in all seriousness looked like a short version of Bubba. No way this story wasn't true. Of course, our MSM wanted nothing to do with following up.

BTW, are there any similar stories about Repub leaders? Everyone I have heard about with babes out of wedlock are the Dems. Just wondering.

I wouldn't be shocked if there's more of them out there.

You're right!
Bunch of little Teddies! Drunk, cheating, law breakers.
Of course, with that pedigree they'll all run for Congress!

Teddy's anthem

I can make anybody pretty.
I can make you believe any lie.
I can make you pick a fight with somebody twice your size.
Well, I've been known to cause a few break-ups,
An' I've been known to cause a few births.
Well, I can make you new friends, or get you fired from work.

My favorite line in the story.

See, this isn't shocking news to me. Now if the headline had read: "Ted Kennedy Pays Regular, Honest Tithe" or "Ted Kennedy Attends Donates Family Wealth to Poor", that would shock me.

He's supposed to be a Catholic and should have said at least ten million mea culpas for the many moral failures he has committed-- or at least paid the bill for the cost of the Archdiocese of Boston's problem with perverted clergy. Each could then justify its little indulgences.

Sir or madam, your understanding of Catholicism and penitence is horribly lacking in any factual basis.

How exactly would this hurt a Kennedy politically? In Mass?

Pundits asked that same question in the hours following Chappaquidick, and the rest as they say, "is history".

It certainly doesn't rise to the level of "....Greets Aliens From Another Planet".
