How many folks of color does the Gub have on his staff anyway?

He did chose to not nominate a well qualified Black Judge back on the Supreme Court to replace JRB, after all.

Instead, he opted for picking a "former" D now a "R" but openly poses herself as a centrist/moderate.

"We've spent a year and a half, and millions of dollars fighting this SOB,'' San Francisco Labor Council head Tim Paulson said of the governor. "For him to come to this breakfast was an absolute insult."

No, Mr. Paulson, it is you that is insulting.

It all started last week when Schwarzenegger's office called Brown and asked where he thought the governor should appear on MLK Day. The governor was thinking about Los Angeles. Brown suggested San Francisco.

"I brought him here when he was first elected," Brown said. "And I thought -- given his new (leftward) direction -- it would be highly appropriate for him to continue the trend."
