Isn't it sweet irony. Typical small-minded, bigotted liberal hypocrisy

"We've spent a year and a half, and millions of dollars fighting this SOB,'' San Francisco Labor Council head Tim Paulson said of the governor. "For him to come to this breakfast was an absolute insult."Aaaaah, another example of tolerance by the left.
I feel all warm & fuzzy

This is why reaching out to racist organizations is just plain stupid and a waste of time. They are full of hate and bitterness. (cancer of the soul) You don't see black mayors/governors/etc. reaching out to the KKK. American blacks in general are the most racist people in America. (not that there are not many racist whites, etc., but they are not coddled by the politicians, SCOTUS, Justice, MSM, etc.).
To: SmithL
Do they think MLK would have turned him or anyone away? These poeple that pretend to follow his "dream" are at best snake oil salesman.

In the alternate Universe, the headling was "Governor's no show at King breakfast angers city's labor leaders"

People with different opinions need not apply.
The NAACP and its members do nothing but exclude, and divide, and hustle, and blackmail, and HATE.

I'm getting to the point of saying why should any Republican/Conservative ever show up to anything having to do with MLK Day. The Liberals and Rats have done everything and more to do the opposite of what MLK publicly stood for. All that MLK Day had become is a free day for the Rats/Liberals and the MSM to bash the GOP and Conservatives and American values.

MLK day should be banned. It gets African American 'leaders' all in a lather, they feel free to bash whites, whites feel guilty. It sets back race relations.

"We've spent a year and a half, and millions of dollars fighting this SOB,'' San Francisco Labor Council head Tim Paulson said of the governor. "For him to come to this breakfast was an absolute insult." Straight from the mouths of the Party of Compassion and Decorum.
(I have a few choice words that I like to use to describe your average Labor Leader as well, but my deeply-instilled sense of decorum absolutely forbids me from repeating them, verbally OR electronically.)

Rev. King would be appalled at how his name is being used, on this one national holiday, to incite division, racism, and hatred. All of the things which the good reverend spoke against.
