We got somebody they don't want us to know about. It's interesting that Zawahiri hasn't come out with a tape taunting us.

I wouldn't be surprised to find that these A$$ clowns tape segements in advance for that very purpose. But you wouldn't find any specific evidence in those tapes of the actual date or time, nor any mention of the date, place, and manner of their "alleged" demise.

>>>>>>>>>Who was in those graves?<<<

Well I'm sure we know more than we've been letting on, since there has been dead (pun intended) silence out of the Bush folks...which brings up an interesting piont I will get to in a minute. But, my guess is we have been having a field day monitoring the AQ chatter. I am certain we know a lot about who died and probably know who was removed.

Now for the interesting part.....everyone always seems to think Bush is dumb...well, my guess is we pretty much knew all along that we nailed some big chiefs and this is the best part about Bush. I think he plays the best damn poker in Washington. Look at how often the press or the Dems rant about something, only to be embarrassed later on. If they knew who was likely to be killed, it must have been wonderful sport to sit in the White House and watch all the "we killed 18 'civilians'" stuff go on in the MSM.

Just wondering what we really know.....

What is also very curious is the reaction of the Dems. Right from the start there was virtually no criticism, and even some support (e.g. Bayh). Some Dem tipped off the other Dems that to criticize this one would hand the Republicans a big campaign issue.

"Controversial" U.S. air strike?

Controversial only to our enemies.

heheh....Bush keeps letting the media play this like a poorly tuned fiddle....every time they touch it, the music stinks. You are likely right that Bayh leaked it to the big shot Dems that we actually did hit some bigshots, just not Zawahiri.

The only thing that makes no sense is Hitlery's shrill attacks coupled with Al Gore, unless they are losing thier $hizzle over the success of the strike. Losing her cool in a crisis is Hitlery's MO. Does that make sense?

Just like OBL's recent audio tape, I think the remarks by Gore and whatshername were planned and prepared before news of the strike was well developed.

I couldn't stomach to read their remarks in their entirety so I may be missing a lot, but I had the impression that Gore's thing was mostly the NSA story as a club to beat the impeachment drum. Whatshername's plantation remark I thought was pushing the "culture of corruption" button. Her "anything you can do I can do better" criticism about Iran was just typical posturing. Maybe I'm missing something.

I do think word of the seriousness of the Predator strike got out very fast. Everyone seemed to get on the same line, and no one seems as yet to have broken ranks. The Dems know it was a significant accomplishment.

We kill a few, we miss a few, we keep trying. But leave it to the media to muddy the waters by snatching a maybe, could have, might be, not sure, don't ask me now, can I have a week to think about it, don't count your chickens, from a decisive victory worth celebrating.

Your syntax is a wonder to behold . . .

And yes, the media bring new meaning to the expression, "the fog of war."

I agree that AlGore's remarks were mostly about the NSA stuff and that She Who Shall Remain Nameless's (whatshername's) remarks were typical, but the shrill nature of both is a change or a diversion.

The change could be as simple as both of them have noticed that Russ Feingold (even though he is too far left to be serious) has begun the 2008 campaign and these two wanted to make sure their campaigns were also underway.....or

The shrill nature is what I see as a vintage Democrat kneejerk move to divert attention from Bush's good news. This is an old Bill Clinton tactic and Bush was certain to gain respect for actually killing bad guys after the MSM pooped on it....so, The Tree and SWSRN (both of whom learned this tactic at the foot of the master) decided to make shrill attacks on things that they felt would still resonate.

Diversion? Yes, possible. And maybe away from the Barrett report as well

Shoot...I completely forgot about the Barrett report. But wait....the redacted part is where we get to the juicy stuff. My understanding is that Senators get to see that part and it will eventually be leaked. The interesting thing about Bill Clinton and his other half SWSRN, is they always were so transparent about what they were doing.

I think it is no small coincidence that ALGore and SWSRN both made shrill comments within days of one another. The media is way too stupid to even ask why, but it is likely to be any of the three (Pak hit, Prez 2008 or Barret) or all of them discussed here.
