I thought the Supreme Court said there ARE no "crimes against nature"?
He has aids?
Sounds like a victim of the Brokeback movie.
I find it incredible that a story about such a horrendous act contains so many quotes from the perpetrator. One would expect comments of out rage from the community and statements from the authorities. I guess the author was trying to humanize a child rapist (and murderer if the virus was spread).
The unstated and horrid implications of this hideous crime against this 13-year old they've identified is that there are likely to be other victims.
This is a terrible report about truly deranged and evil people.
So let's get this straight. The guy who sodomizes unwilling teenages is named, "Yow!"
Yes, seems that way, I agree. The article appears to be platforming for the deranged; and, although it's subtle, it's clearly discernable.
WE TOLD YOU SO!!!
I read it that the writer is mocking the media coverage prior to his arrest as being gullible to the extreme. The writer is quoting from the gushing coverage this guy received. And guess what he was up to at the same time the reporters were fawning over him?
When the more appropriate response is, "forty years, next case!"
"He and Douglas Wayne Murphy, his roommate, are both charged with victimizing the boy"
i remember another FR thread that mentioned the frequency of evil-doers with the middle name "wayne".
i wonder if FBI profilers know to look for this.
I don't see the words "statutory rape" in there, do you?
"Crimes against nature" starts to cover it.
"He hands out condoms and tells little kids it's OK to have sex with AIDS victims presumably including him.
He boasted that he expected to "make contact" with as many as 4,000 people in 2006 most of them between the ages of 12 and 24."
i think you caught the writer's drift.
Fawning over the kid.
Blecccchhh.
When he's sent to prison, I expect they'll do another story like, "AIDS Victim Sentenced to Languish in Captivity." If he were sentenced to death (not a possibility in this case), it would probably be even more heart-rending.
Or is that the Bareback movie?
Tie them to a tree and give the kid a 12ga.
Well, yes, but the writer also avoids naming the guy and his wretched behavior for what it is and seems to be relying on deflecting the issue altogether by way of repeatedly mentioning the issues of theft, "false federal agency" and such.
Theft and connery are terrible, yes, but they seem pale by comparison with the harms inflicted upon this identified vulenrable child and the liklihood of other victims (not even mentioned, unfortunately, as possibility and liklihood).
The abuser, the deranged guy and his likely-as-equally-deranged "partner" and what they've done...it ends up being an "oh, well, {sigh}" type statement, the article, which also allows establishment of VICTIM status for the deranged themselves. They're {sigh}, abusing people but they have, {sigh}, AIDS and are, {sigh}, homosexuals who have a hard time, {sigh}, and, oh, there's a 13 year old they, {sigh} 'harmed,', so, whatyougonnado, it's outrageous that they defrauded taxpayers!"
The entire work here is truly ghastly.
I was just trying to read some comments on a Yahoo message board affiliated with a news article (commenting board) and the place was overrun with homosexuals all feeling sorry for themselves because society makes their "lives" difficult.
I had to shut the site down after so much of it. None of them, not one, ever suggests personal responsibility, the ability to acknowledge that their choices are what make their own lives difficult. Not to mention those they victimize.
The abnormalities involved are profound. Although I'm not telling most here anything new, I realize, most of us by this point being all to sadly familiarized with the abnormalities via media exposure.
It would pose a progression of the real kind about our civilization if and when media begins to confront the actual problems and not these digressions, while minimizing the most abnormal. The minimization of the most abnormal tends to "normalize" it.
I tend to think that the continuing proliferation and "normalization" of and about homosexuality by, mostly, other homosexuals making insistences for such, is occuring because previous effective punishments are now deemed inhumane and not allowed.
When we were mere small towns and isolated groups, a lot of aberrations were dealt with effectively by the smaller civilizations, to whatever extent was necessary to protect and maintain the others.
Our chief problem at present time is that we as a civilization don't yet comprehend effective punishments and deterrants. Or perhaps comprehend them but can't yet actualize them to any successful extent. Even prison and the death penalty doesn't dissuade a lot of the madness I read about, if not for some attract greater madness.
I don't know what the solution is for those who are involved in this level of madness, I really don't. But starting to identify it as what it is -- madness and corrupt derangement -- is at least the right place to start. You can only romance a serpent so much before it bites you.
