If you have the opportunity, Edithe buy or rent the DVD's for season 1, 2, 3, and 4. I think you'll be hooked. I just could not stop the DVD player!
The only disappointment is now having to watch every Monday night for 24 weeks and tolerate the commercials!
Also, I'm gonna miss President Palmer and Michelle.
I never thought I'd be this hooked on a TV program. I only watch Fox Beltway Boys and NFL Football! It so timely and doesn't give a crap about PC!

You people that get to watch earlier seasons of '24' are SO lucky! My wife and I have watched this show on FOX from the first episode of Season 1, and used to have endure the three and four week breaks between episodes back when '24' was spread out over an entire television season (September - May.) Man, talk about anxiety!

I'm in the same boat. My wife and I checked out Season 1 on DVD this summer and were hooked really bad and have now seen all of the seasons in time for this season. I am having trouble waiting a week to see the next episode but do the DVR thing so I can skip the commercials yet. One advantage is I no longer stay up to midnight because I just want to watch one more episode.
