Cream back in the day? Lucky dog. Did you check out the 2005 reunion concert at the Royal Albert Hall on video yet? Not bad for a bunch of fogeys, but I was hoping Clapton would at least bring out his old Gibsons for the show; they sound much better than Strats for the type of music played. But EC's been a Stratman since the Derek and the Dominoes days, and I guess that's what he's most comfortable playing.

Anyway, the standout tunes (for me) were "Rollin' and Tumblin" and "NSU."

thanks for the info. i'll look for the video.

i heard them in NYC on the first tour, and at the Oakland Coliseum on their farewell tour. "I feel free" at the first concert and "White Room" at the later one stand out in my mind as really powerful.

rarely do these guys[and gals] bring their fave collector instruments on tour,expensive reporos are expendable ,... back when, I was told by a drummer for Iggy, how Ivan Kral's fave Les Paul Junior had a forklift turn the headstock into toothpicks
