Mick Taylor was a very good blues soloist. ....reserved, rarely attempting to break new ground. Mimicked his personality. Saw him with Mayall and the Bluesbreakers at the Roxy in L.A. in the early 80s. Total Professionals.

way, way, (way) back. i once heard the beatles live (at the west side tennis club stadium in forest hills--sometime in the early 60's--i can't even remember what year it was--senility setting in as i type these very words).
i heard cream on their first american tour, and likewise zeppelin.

i stopped listening to rock about 1972, so i have no idea what happened after that.
now i listen to jazz and opera.
