Where is Wes Montgomery? Where is Django Reinhardt?

I guess the title doesn't say rock only, but how can rock guitarists be expected to compete with jazz guitarists?

That's true,generally speaking,the best of jaz guitarists have it over rock guitaists,on sheer virtuousity.

Even though he wouldn't be a virtuoso in anybody's book,I think that Pete "Windmills" Townshend has a very interesting and unique style.
