I agree, Nugent should be on the list for spanning four decades at a let-it-all-blast performance level. I saw him in 2005 and he didn't give away anything against the first time I saw him in about '74.

I think there are a couple of tracks that Kenny Wayne Shepard has laid down that, while outside the strick genre, still deserve a mention: Ledbetter Heights, Born with a Broken Heart and Aberdeen.

As Jazz has been mentioned as well, I might ask if anyone bought and listened to Kevin Eubank's album from fifteen years back, "Heat of Heat"? Of course, jazz is like rock, once you start to name the names, it never stops.

Nuge blew my ears out so bad in 82, I was afraid to go back again. He is an awsome performance.
I swear, I couldn't hear for like 2 days... loudest performance I've ever seen
