People that dont have kids end up being the ones that yell at a kid and take his/her football away if it rolls into their yard.

Older couples without kids have always seemed bitter to me.

Except for a very select few, most people's memories are only carried on for the long term by their children, and then their children's children.

It can't be a pleasant thought for the elderly when it dawns on them that before long nobody will really remember them or even look at their photographs.

Next time you make your measurements, be sure that you are not told which couples have kids and which don't. It would also help if the childless older couples were randomly chosen from as a set as possible. Likewise the old couples with children used as your control should be chosen randomly from as complete a set as possible. When you've got your results, get back to us.

Depends on why they don't have kids.

When I was young, my next door neighbor and his wife had no kids, and were really kind and nice to all the kids in the neighborhood.

Some folks can't have kids, and wind up being really sweet and nice, while others can't, and become very bitter and jealous.

Depends on the person.

Really? I fondly remember a childless couple that were neighbors of my grandparents. My grandparents lived in a group of 5 houses out in the country, and all 5 of the houses were owned by retired couples. A lot of the grandkids would come to visit at the sime time, due to holidays, vacation, etc., so we grew to know not only their neighbors but also all of the other grandkids. Many of us kids spent hours, day after day, visiting the childless couple, just sitting on their porch talking to them. We always thought they were fun, even though all we ever did was sit and talk.

And sometimes they just have the attitude that they've raised their kids and don't want to have to deal with anybody else's.
