Walter Williams does a good spiel on the subject of hyphenated Americans. He said that throughout his life they kept changing his designation - colored, Negro, African American. He said he is sticking with 'black', thank you very much.

yup...I could a multiple hyphenated American...but I am just too damn proud that I am an American to dilute it by making it a conditional American.
