Mexican military incursions reported
The Washington Times ^ | 17 January, 2006 | By Jerry Seper

The U.S. Border Patrol has warned agents in Arizona of incursions into the United States by Mexican soldiers "trained to escape, evade and counterambush" if detected -- a scenario Mexico denied yesterday.

The warning to Border Patrol agents in Tucson, Ariz., comes after increased sightings of what authorities described as heavily armed Mexican military units on the U.S. side of the border. The warning asks the agents to report the size, activity, location, time and equipment of any units observed.

A total of 216 incursions by suspected Mexican military units have been documented since 1996 -- 75 in California, 63 in Arizona and 78 in Texas, according to a Department of Homeland Security report.

Didn't see this posted this morning. As far as I am concerned, armed military units crossing the border is an act of war.

Thank you. I thought it sounded like an act of war as well.

"Good fences make good neighbors"

Especially when there is a gangster fighting gangster drug war on, and the Mexican "police" are up for sale.

Let's post signs along the border that the military is now using it as a field artillary range, and bring in a few howitzers.

As I recall actions like this by the Mexican Government was a pre-cursor to the first Mexican/American War...gangsters and all.

Honestly, we can build a fence, gun turrets, mines and all...but that wont solve the problem. The real problem lies in Mexico City. If the Mexican government doesnt clean up its corruption we'll always have a problem.

Is there a problem with our national borders? First I've heard of this, are people bringing drugs and stuff illegaly too? We should alert Washington if this is correct. (please note sarcastic observations here!)

It's time to clean Mexico's clock. They clearly don't know what time it is.

We have the Mexican military crossing over onto our soil, attacking our border patrols to protect drug shipments? Our problems with Mexico are far worse than illegal immigration.

I have a funny feeling President Bush isn't going to do much about this, either. Maybe we won't get serious about this unless someone gets killed.

Posted a few times, but it can't be posted enough for the bots to realize that their god is betraying them.

Now that Jackboot John Magaw is in Homeland Insecurity troublemaking malcontents like those Vigilantee Minutemen had better take heed. Bush wants an open border and he'll do what he has to to keep it that way.

The only way this happens is because we allow it to happen. For some reason, our government does not consider it an important duty to control this border.

That statement nails it. The Mexican government is using the US as a safety valve to get rid of all of the malcontents that would otherwise be turned by the Communist organizer. And the bonus is the money that the illegals send back as protection money for their loved ones left behind in Mexico.

Why don't we do to Mexico what we did to Haiti?

Remember Haiti? We invaded and took over that government because "Haiti had too many refugees fleeing to the US, as well".
