*PING*! Apologies to those on the list who are already here, like Marine Inspector and Travis McGee.
Border Patrol spokesman Salvador Zamora confirmed that a "military incursion" warning was given to Tucson agents, but said it was designed to inform them how to react to any sightings of military and foreign police in this country and how to properly document any incursion.
BTW....the needle is still moving...it's on it's way to 10!

The SOP handed down from DC is to back off observe and report. DO NOT engage or make contact with theses units.
DC does not want a shooting that they may have to deal with.
As long a no one dies, it can be swept under the rug and ignored.

The biggest question of all still remains.
Why does the White House put up with this?
Does Bush believe we won't notice the blatant incongruity between what we are doing in the Middle East with the WoT and what we are doing to protect and defend our own sovereignty vis-a-vis Mexico (i.e., nothing)?
Incredible, simply incredible...
