The story is crap. There is no way that anyone can know two and 3/4 years before an election who is going to win.

In 1989 Bush 41 looked unbeatable. IN 1991 Bush 41 looked unbeatable with a 90 percent job approval rating.

But one thing is certain... Hillary is attacking bush and moveing to the far Left.

NO politician changes a strategy that is working

HIllary was supporting the PResident and the war in Iraq. Suddenly she is attacking bush non stop? She has in the last two weeks changed her strategy... Why?

It is pretty simple. She has lost the support of the Democratic base. Imaging the following.... while home for Christmas Vacation Nancy Pelosi was booed in ther own District* at a Democratic meeting where she spoke. The base of the Democratic party is mad at Nancy Pelosi for being too conservative. Can you imagine how mad they are at Hillary?

The truth is Hillary is having trouble getting the support of the base and she can't win the Democratic nomination in 2008 with out the support of the DEmocratic Base. The Clintonistas are trying to counter the opposition to Hillary, by doing the same thing they did to nominate Kerry. The are trying to create the image that Hillary can win the presidency!!!.

The truth is she can not even be sure of getting the Democratic nomiation. And unless she moves far to the left she will not get the nomination. That is why HIllary in the last few weeks has taken a very sharp left turn.

The first rule of Politics is

Get the suport of the base then run like heck for the center

HIllary tried to start at the center before she acquired the base. The Democratic Base thinks both Bill and HIllary are at best DINOs. Some Democrats think that the base will support a candidate they think can win. That is the reason for this story. That is not the case. They destered Dean to go with Kerry becuase Kerry was going to beat Bush. Kerry got beat. They are not buying that same act twice. The base wants a true leftist.

The base wants a lefist candidate. And they think Hillary is a DINO.

Hillary will have to move so far left to get the nominatin that she will have no chance in the general election.

I look for Hillary at the last moment to withdraw from the Presidential primaries. Then try to pick up the pieces after a full blown leftist is defeated in 2008.

I think Hillary will try to pull a Nixon and run in 2012 after a leftist has been massively defeated in 2008.

Unless something drastic happens niether 2006 or 2008 will be a good year for Democrats.

I agree. The Senate is +/-2, House -3 to -6. The MSM will spin it (and I'm glad for that, because it will keep them in the dark about their impending '08 loss), but it's another atrocious loss for the Demons.

Madame Cankles is unelectable -- they know it, and we know it.

Perhaps someone will finally analyze the situation properly -- no MSM SOB cried any tears when the GOP was out of power (in the House) for 40 years.

My prediction for '08 -- relish the idea of Gore running rogue at the head of a Green Party ticket.
