You know, I really have no problem with people adding to their income on a cash basis; hell, I do it when I babysit or have a garage sale, etc. But to adopt begging from others as a "lifestyle" is just too much for me.

Especially when they're pulling in that kind of cash, pay no taxes at all and have kids to raise.

Have you read the book "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls? It a very interesting memoir by a woman who grew up with these type of hippy-bum parents. Her Mom is still homeless, living on the streets, though she's sitting on millions of dollars in land holdings. Go figure.

I raised two daughters alone. There were no food stamps, welfare, or state medical. I worked two jobs for a total of 16-18 hours a day to make it work. Being a single parent is hard, being a single custodial father is really hard.
I didn't make $40,000 a year in any of the 10 years I had my girls alone.
I didn't take anything from anyone. Begging is disgusting and a very filthy role model to show your children.

The beggars get food stamps and welfare. They rely heavily on the State.

A previous article on these jokers (there have been a few this past week) did state that they get $500 a month in Food Stamps. I can't verify the other "perks" but I'll bet you a trash-picked doughnut that they use a local Emergency Room for their medical needs. *Rolleyes*
