oh, yes, they do get to vote for POTUS, DC has 3 electoral votes (which somehow always go in the D column)... DC has only a 'delegate' to the House and 'shadow' Senator, so no voting there.

Yikes, of course you are right. But the point remains, they are limited in their voting power since they exercise so much local control.

Would that they didn't get electoral college votes, too!
