He's BAAAAACK! Yup, Prince Alberta, newly relocated to the liberal mecca of San Francisco ensconsed in his new multi-million $$ condo, working in the venture capital field (all bad things when he was running for the WH) will today crawl out from under his rock to deliver himself of a major address about the "evils of executive power"

Yes, I have heard it more than once. Usually the host will then try to modify their or the callers comments - last week I heard one guy say "Well lets just clarify this is only the callers opinions, we are not advocating such." I listen to the LLL weekly to kind of measure how high the level of rage is, and it is definitely rising, at least those are the ones they are letting on the air. I wandered over to DU last night, which I will never usually do, and the language and rage over this is appalling - that is all I can say. They are just incensed about this "illegal wiretapping" which I find just a joke and eventually we will all see that, if it can be discussed openly. Sort of like Echelon if you have read anything about that system.

Barr's second divorce involved a trial in which Barr lied about his long-term adulterous relationship with a woman named Jerri Dobbin, the woman Barr destroyed his second marriage for and eventually married as his third wife. Barr's initial answers indicate that he denied the relationship under oath - and because even Jerri has admitted that the adulterous affair took place, that's felony perjury...

Gore Meets the VRWC
Posted by Jonathan H. Adler · 5 January 2006 · Climate
Yesterday, former Vice President Al Gore showed up at the weekly, off-the-record Wednesday morning conservative coalition meeting hosted by Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform. Gore sought the meeting because he is making a sincnere effort to convert more conservatives to environmental causes. Apparently this willingness to exchange views with his political opponents impressed many in attendance -- and suggests that many in the environmental community who prefer to demonize conservatives could learn from him. Steve Hayward offers this report.
Ah-ha! Found the link to the NR Gore love fest...

After swearing he would veto the McCain anti-terrorism bill if Congress passed it, the president in the end signed with apparent indifference, a flat denouement to what he had staged as high drama. Why? Because, as it turns out, Bush simply declared he doesn't have to follow the law if he doesn't want to. Huh?

I'm not sure how they intend to execute Bush since he is already born and isn't in a comma.

How could they NOT know what has been going on for years???? I know - it is highly disturbing. I worked in the crypto industry for a few years and started way back by reading "The Puzzle Palace" by James Bramford to see what I could learn of NSA as publicly known. This book was copyrighted in 1982. The current release of NSA secrets to the NYT is TREASON and there is nothing to debate. I can only hope the DOJ will follow through and not assign it to a bunch of Toon RATS to investigate. House cleaning is needed all through the Intelligence Agencies. They need to have the loyalty the Military establishes in its ranks. I don't know why Bush is encouraging the investigation of NSA and its operations? They have an IG, the DOD has an IG - that ought to be sufficient. They have counsel and know the laws intimately - I worked with NSA's attorneys.

I have been known to listen to AirAmerika once in a while...to see what the enemy is saying..I am going to listen more...and see if this "violence" thing has any legs...
I can see why they would talk about it...they know they have no "legitimate" way to get President Bush out of office...and thugs is thugs..

No matter what Barr's legitimate opinions are on constitutional issues, on the Patriot Act, and National Security wiretaps and surveillance, he should never allow himself to be used by the likes of Al Gore and George Soros! Yea. I hope Bob Barr realizes that he will never be taken seriously by conservatives again. Have fun with Gore and your other ACLU buddies Bob.

Has Gore gotten around to Echelon, Carnivore, Able Danger, or the "Gorelick wall" yet? He beat around the bush on Able Danger and the Gorelick Wall. He noted that the government had the names and other information relating to some of the 9/11 perps, but did not use that information to stop the attack.
None of the current commentators have bothered to distinguish NSA "Echelon/Carnivore" activity from the filtering and culling and targeting that is done, usually on requests from other agencies, to target individuals.
