DES MOINES, IowaDes Moines activist Adin Davis and Gov. Tom Vilsack will be recognized tomorrow during the state's ceremony honoring Martin Luther King Junior.
The Iowa Commission on the Status of African-Americans will award Davis a King Lifetime Achievement Award. He will be recognized for his activism, diversity consulting and organization of King and Kwanzaa celebrations in Des Moines.

That is so funny, on a day set aside (allegedly) to honor civil rights heroes, here's someone being championed for coddling criminals.
Makes you wonder what the real agenda is.

Felons used to have to petition the governor to get their voting rights restored. Vilsack himself denied hundreds of them. Then, he pulled this stunt. That says it all.

You want funny. The proof readers at the Des Moines Register screwed up big time yesterday. They did an article on MLK celebrations and they interviewed a guy by the last name of Coon.
They kept writig "Coon said" and then went on with his quote about MLK.
I got a chuckle out of that.

Vilsack is also involved in a program that grants scholarships to homosexuals. I've always wondered how one proved they qualify.

They did an article on MLK celebrations and they interviewed a guy by the last name of Coon. Maybe the names should have been changed to protect the innocent.
