I visited my sister (who is studying at Harvard) in Cambridge not too long ago. One thing that caught my attention: I passed by a store with a t-shirt that read, "The People's Republic of Cambridge".
Communist socities have one thing in common - they tend to depopulate over time. I guess that applies to societies that think it's fun to think of themselves as Communist too.

Cambridge has been known as Moscow on the Charles for years. If you refer to the Peoples Republic people assume you are talking about Cambridge.
